Showtek feat. We Are Loud! & Sonny Wilsone – Booyah

If you know Showtek then you know that they have a very distinctive style when it comes their music. It is impossible to recognize a showtek track. This is the time of the year for the DJ 100 voting and Booyah is a track that they are trying to pursue us to vote for them. Ths track is a killer track. Hope you like it.

Decibel Weekend Mix – Selwyn Donia 27/07/13

Another great week for the Decibel Weekend Mix. This week’s episode features tracks by Daft Punk, Akcent, Martin Garixx, and many more. Also, a bonus to this week’s show the recident guest DJ Selwyn Donia has redited  Klangkarussell’s track ”Sonnentanz.” It is a MUST listen to episode this week and like I said more big accomplishments are coming to them.

Tiesto, Mark Alston, Baggi Begovic & Jason Taylor – Love and Run ft. Teddy Geiger(Original Mix)

There is a huge list of names of people that are featured in this track. Festival favorite maybe? That is up to you. This track was just recently released through Musical Freedom Records.

Chuckie & Promise Land Feat. Amanda Wilson – Breaking Up (Dzeko and Torres Remix)

Here is another typical ”real club sound” for all of you party rockers out there. The beat is not too hard but not too soft. The lyrics flow really well together and this can be a track to dance or to sleep to. Pretty much what I am saying is that this track is just one awesome track.

Avicii – Wake Me Up

Avicii’s ”Wake Me Up” has been out for a while now, but it is too good of a track to not post about in a later time. I think this track will end up being really BIG!!! Nothing like his famous track ”levels” which made it around the entire world, but this track will definitely will be heard on many od radio stations across the world.

Dance Floor Junkies Feat. Anya V – Gold & Interview

The Dance Floor Junkies is a one of a kind group. One from New York and the other from Chicago. Both with a big city background which is crucial in the music industry, but not only just that one of the artist is just as good as writing as he his as making music which makes the music feeling come more alive when there are lyrics involved with the dancing beat. Who doesn’t like that? We luckily had a chance to interview them. Also, do not forget to get your free download of their latest track ”Gold.”

Neverest Musik: Lets start by asking. How did you both meet?

We met through a mutual friend who also became our individual managers at the time. His name is DJ White Shadow who himself has also become Lady Gaga’s producer. Through time, White Shadow thought it would be a great idea for us to experiment with making music together. Jem knew how to produce and I could write! We both have also made successful careers out of DJing.

Neverest Musik: How did the ”Dance Floor Junkies” originate?

It’s funny, We were actually known as the Radioaktives when we release our very first EP. After Jem attend a Lady Gaga concert he was inspired to change the name to represent the effect that the group has on an audience. The is when the name “Dance Floor Junkies” originated.

Neverest Musik: If you had to pick out a specific talent that you both had. DJ Jem what would yours be? Broadway what would yours be?

Broadway:
My talent will always be connecting to my audience whether is thru the turntables or the mic.

Jem:
Mine would be musical programming at a show/party and reading the crowd I have in front of me! No party is the same, even EDM shows! Everyone connects differently!

Neverest Musik: What inspired you both to get involved with the club life/dance style of music?

Broadway:
Grav, White Shadow & Jem inspire me when it comes to dance music. My background is Hip-Hop but I think all of their tastes in dance music is inspirational.

Jem:
I think the energy of dance music itself inspired me first! Musically Mord fustang and Fredde Le Grand are some of my favorite producers.

Neverest Musik: What are your biggest accomplishments individually and as the ”Dance Floor Junkies?”

Broadway:
My biggest accomplishment I would say is this group and what we’ve built and the energy we give at our shows.

Jem:
I would agree with Broadway, but I would also say personally. Making a career out of djing is extremely difficult. I am proud of myself for achieving this to this date.

Neverest Musik: The most memorable moment regarding music?

Broadway:
My most memorable moment is when Grav got his record deal. I really couldn’t believe they were gonna actually give him money for his talent. It’s a thing you always talk about, but never imagine could happen for your friend and it did. That told me I could do the same. That guy has accomplished so much it pushes me.

Jem:
The moment you realize that you produce a “Record” and not just a song. This has happened with to me with or new record “Gold”

Neverest Musik: Do you have any current projects?

Right now all our efforts are going into the release of “Gold” which drops on July 23rd, 2013! After that Promos, Shows, and More Promos. Also, we always stay remixing!

Neverest Musik: What are your future plans?

Definitely more shows coming up! Along with more remixes and future EP Projects!

Neverest Musik: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans and to the people that just discovered you both?

We are always grateful and thankful for your support! Please continue share with your friends and Get ready for a crazy show in your town!
